ISKF Canada is proud and honoured to host the
inaugural ISKF World Shoto Cup on October 9 - 13, 2008. Competition
will be at Ryerson
University, located in the heart of the city of Toronto (Click
here for PDF map).
The world championships include separate divisions
for youth, adults, and seniors over 45 years.
As part of the activities, there will be training
seminars with master instructors, examination for black belts, and
judges exam.

World Shoto Cup Tickets available at the event door. Tickets
on sale 8:00 AM, and continually throughout each day. Cash only
Ryerson University, Toronto, Upper Gym
West and North Kerr Hall. On Gerrard St - East of Yonge - West of
Church (South Side of Gerrard)
There will be signs to the event
Tickets: (All passes allow spectators to exit and re-enter the
event)
Bronze - upper balcony - $10/day - or - $30 for 4-day pass
(including finals)
Silver - Courtside Bleachers - $15/day - or $50 for 4-day pass
(including finals)
Gold - VIP floor seating at judging level - $20/day - or $60 for
4-day pass (including finals)
Events: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday through Monday, October 10-13

There will be a lunch break from approximately 12:00-1:00 each day
Friday: (9:00-5:00) Junior individual Kata and Kumite eliminations
(ages 8-17).
Saturday: (9:00-12:00) Junior team Kata eliminations (ages 8-17)
(1:00-5:00) Adult/Senior Team Kata eliminations (1:00-5:00) Adult Team Kumite eliminations
Sunday: (9:00-5:00) Adult/Senior individual Kata and Kumite
eliminations.
Monday: (9:00-5:00) Demonstrations, Official Ceremony and All Finals
Kata/form: is a series of moves in which
you systematically eliminate imaginary multiple attackers.
Kumite/sparring: is fighting a real opponent.
