ISKF New Brunswick Celebrates The Olympics
As our Nation prepares to host The Olympic Winter Games, the ISKF NB
joins in the celebration.
Jeffrey Soucy of the Edmundston Shotokan Karate took part in the
Torch Relay on Nov 28, 2009. He received this opportunity thanks to
his outstanding performances at the 2008 ISKF World Shoto Cup in
Toronto and the 2009 ISKF Canadian Championships in Calgary.
Jeffrey was very proud to carry the flame, since it was his way
of sharing his highest passion to the rest of the country. The
Olympics have always been a great dream for him. However, karate
is not a recognized discipline at the Olympics. Carrying the
Olympic torch was the next best way for him to be part of this
historic event....a chance of a life time!
